Business meeting: No training class
Attendance: Arnold Bishop; Don Nicholson; Richard Stancel; Tim Dyer
Meeting started 6:00 pm
Discussed :
Discussed the outcome of our last training class on Feb 17,2011. We had a nice turn out really appreciate James M Pleasants Comp. for doing the class on B& G pumps.
Had a nice turn out.
Also talked again about purchasing a lap top for our Chapter record keeping etc.
Also software Quick Books to keep our financial recording and records like financial reports for our members , as well in order for possible audits by IRS no-profit status etc.
New business:
Ask when the CD’s mature we have at the different Banks we have them.
Need to check on our Checking account if interest bearing and or if it would be in our best interest to switch to a Bank that does give one.
Also check with the rest of the board on their thoughts on going forward with purchasing a lap top and Quick Books software.
Need to fill out the IRS nonprofit and submit it to IRS
Canceled April meeting/ class April 21, 2011 Holiday
Also will be checking with Motors and Controls if they would be will to do a class on motors?
Will check with Jim Johnson
