Meeting brought to order: 6:30
Old business: April training class/ meeting canceled due to Holiday
IRS tax – non-profit form filled out and sent in. up to date now.
Electronic checking / soft ware, QuickBooks / laptop computer: Don Nicholson – Treasure is working on these.
Checking into Banks, on which one we should use for our checking.
New Business: We elected to stay with BB&T Banking for our checking services.
Electronic checking – soft ware – QuickBooks – laptop computer is still in the process of research and purchasing
Officer’s election nominees: Please send in your nominees! We need to finalize this. Don’t be shy you can even nominate yourself for a position. We really need these positions filled to operate as a Chapter should. All Positions are open for nominees; the more there is the better choices we all have. The positions are; President, Vice President, even 2nd vice President should anyone wants to step up to fill it; Treasure; Secretary; Education Chairperson-this position can be appointed; Sergeant of Arms lastly Web Master .
Chapter Bills: Web page change for putting on Vendor of the month $50.00 we elected to pay it.
Also we are going to put out a 2nd flier to get the word out on the officer’s election. It is very important we get this done.
Elections then will be on July 21, 2011
Our next meeting is June 16, 2011 (3rd Thursday) of the month DON’T FORGET TO E-MAIL NOMINEES BY JUNE’S MEETING!!! So we can get an election ballet read to vote on our Officers at July’s meeting. We should have already had the nominees done and ready for election for the June meeting. We are a little behind.
OK Guys! Let’s not forget our June meeting/training class too!
We will have Motor & Controls: training us on how to trouble shoot, identify motors without there labels, wiring, etc. Jim Johnson is the Speaker please be sure to welcome him when you see him.
